A nonprofit Board of Directors is responsible for the overall governance of a nonprofit organization.  Board members are required to attend board meetings and stay actively engaged in the organization.  Being a board member is a lot like having a job and is different than volunteering or being a general member supporting the cause.

If you are not ready for the commitment of being on the board, we understand and have many volunteer and member opportunities outside of being on the board!
